Congratulations on your engagement! If you are looking for a venue for a wedding then the Church of England is here to help you. All are welcome to explore marriage in their parish church.
To qualify to marry at St Paul's Church, Winchmore Hill (as with any parish church in England or Wales) either the bride or groom must show:-
That one of you:
- is resident in the Parish of St Paul, Winchmore Hill (see below);
- is on the electoral roll of the Parisch Church of St Paul, Winchmore Hill;
- has at any time lived in the parish for a period of at least six months;
- was baptised in this parish;
- was prepared for confirmation in the parish;
- has at any time regularly gone to normal church services in the parish church for a period of at least six months.
Or that one of your parents during your lifetime:
- has lived in the parish for at least six months;
- has regularly gone to normal church services in the parish church for a period of at least six months;
Or that one of your parents or grandparents:
- was married in the parish church.
If one or other of you have been married before and are divorced with a former spouse still living then please contact the vicar (vicar@spwh.org) to discuss options.
